as“TheEchoTemple”foritsseveralacousticreflectionscausedbyadome
vaultandwateronthefloor.Thetempleisentirelymadeoftophus,andit
hasadiameterof21.5meters(71ft)andacircularopeninginthevault
reminiscentoftheoneinthePantheoninRome.Thesampledinstrument
producesflute,horn,efxs,impulsivesounds,and,withalittleelectroacoustic
modification,feedbacksounds;allsoundsareplayablewithorwithoutthe
convolutionoftheTemple.ThislibrarywasinspiredbyavideobySalvatore
Carannante,amusicianwhoplayscommonorrecycledeverydayobjectsasa
wayofinteractingwiththeacousticspace.
